The news was met with much excitement, especially from those who don’t feel like they’re getting much out of the fancy new EA titles and would rather stick to an older, but more robust game. Disney also threw up a hype statement over on the game’s Steam page, basically confirming the collaboration. We can thank GoG and Disney for this one, with the former putting out a statement mentioning that the game is cross-play compatible between Steam and their own Galaxy client. That’s right, not the one with an open beta coming this weekend, but the game that a much younger me put countless hours into it back on the PS2. It’s a game whose life across online multiplayer was seemingly over with GameSpy’s shutdown a few years ago but found its way back out of a metaphorical rancor pit.
